It's so nice to meet you!

I'm Morgan, a wedding and portrait photographer based in Murfreesboro, NC.

I received my first camera when I was eleven and I haven't put it down since. I fell in love with the raw emotions and irreplaceable memories that photographs allow me to capture. There is something truly magical about being able to document moments in time for others to cherish forever. I am eternally grateful that a small hobby turned into a dream career where I've made so many beautiful relationships.

Every one has a unique story to tell and millions of memories to be made. My goal will always be to preserve your precious moments in the most natural and true way that I can.

I cannot wait to create something that is totally you.

A few of my favorite things

WAKING UP WITH THE SUN

I am fascinated by morning light. The soft glow it creates and what it represents just makes me feel renewed. My favorite way to start my morning is with coffee in one hand and my devotional in the other.

BAKING

Sweets are my weakness and there is always room for dessert. If you ask me about my favorite flavor, it will always be, without a doubt, chocolate.

THRIFT SHOPPING

I could spend hours and hours in thrift shops and antique stores (not my husband's favorite quality of mine). Blending the old with the new is my thing.

60's MUSIC

I love music in general, but I have to say that Motown is my favorite. Otis Redding, The O'Jays, Gladys Knight, Al Green, and so many more will forever have my heart.


Meet my husband, Cody

Cody and I dated for six years and got married in May of 2021. We're complete opposites in all of the best ways. You can usually find us watching the Great British Baking Show, buying toys for our pup, or working on home projects.

Meet our fur baby, Sook

Or as we call her, Moo. This little girl is absolutely full of spunk and personality. She's spoiled rotten and living her best life. Her hobbies include chasing squirrels, being mom and dad's shadow, stealing blankets, barking, and more barking.

Fun fact behind the name:


"Brett" in Morgan Brett Photography is actually my middle name. It's a family name that is rooted in both of my parents sides. I knew that I wanted my business name to be something meaningful, and I couldn't think of a better way than to have both of them be a part of it. Family is everything and I owe them everything.
